The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

On Thursday 26th May, we hosted a grand tea party to celebrate The Queen's Platinum Jubilee. The children came to school dressed to impress The Queen!

We were very honoured to have a very special guest attending our tea party. The Deputy Lieutenant of The West Midlands Lieutenancy Organisation attended our Jubilee celebrations representing Her Majesty, The Queen. Deputy Lieutenant Jenny Loynton thoroughly enjoyed her day at Heath Mount Primary School. She was very impressed with the children's behaviour and how welcoming our children were. The Deputy Lieutenant was our guest judge for the Design a Crown competition and she was delighted with all the entries that we received.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Mrs Dempsey and Mr Mills who organised the celebrations and decorated the school to make the occasion extra special. Coombs Catering did a fantastic job ensuring that every child had a special jubilee packed lunch alongside some delicious cakes.

To mark The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, all children have received a special book celebrating The Queens Platinum Jubilee as a keepsake.
